Artist Emma Bernhard will now take part in the exhibition ”Signature Women” at Artipelag from the 8 March. Her strict paintings and sculptures is based on lines and formal aspects. Her works often have an existential tone. Often we can see large blocks of paint in imperfect geometrical shapes. Through artistic decisions, she examines what is considered successful and unsuccessful, and how she handles her shortcomings. Let´s meet Emma and hear about how to define our existence, not through our own need or through our fellowship with others, but in the competition with each other and our separate histories.
