Åsa Jungnelius is a visual artist and designer. She will now take part in the exhibition ”Signature Women” at Artipelag from the 8 March. Her work is often material-related and goes from interiors to monumental formats. She uses stereotypes as a model and reference and makes eye-catching comments about them. Her artistry revolves around aesthetic hierarchies. The objects become a sort of fetish of ourselves as individuals and our contemporary condition.
